Collaborate with SIS - on terms an accreditation body can audit
SIS works with sales and referral partners, freelance auditors, trainers and regional offices across 30+ countries. What keeps those associations valuable is that every one of them stands on the same compliance base - set out below, accepted in the application, and checked in practice.
The Base of Every Collaboration
Seven commitments every associate signs up to. They are not small print - they are what keeps a certificate issued through a partner worth exactly as much as one issued from the head office.
IAF MD 23
Entities operating on behalf of SIS - sales, marketing or other client-facing work - are controlled under IAF MD 23: a written, legally enforceable agreement, defined responsibilities, and SIS accountability for everything done in its name.
Conflict of Interest
Interests are declared before the association starts, and consultancy and certification never mix: nobody sells certification to a client they consult for, and audit assignments are screened for independence.
Integrity
No partner promises a certificate. Outcomes rest on audit evidence - βWe Do Not Sell, We Certifyβ binds every associate exactly as it binds SIS.
Transparency
Fees, scope and process are stated openly to every client. No hidden commissions, no undisclosed sub-contracting, no terms the client has not seen.
Accreditation Norms
Every collaboration operates inside the accreditation framework - ISO/IEC 17021-1 and the rules of IAS and UAF - so accredited certificates stay accredited.
Ethics
Anti-bribery, impartiality and confidentiality are contractual. Client information stays protected, and inducements of any kind end the association.
SIS Internal Policies
Onboarding, code of conduct, brand and logo usage, complaint handling and record keeping follow SIS internal policy - signed at onboarding and checked during the association.
